Upon your arrival, CTO guide will meet you at the baggage claim area at Hohhot airport or at the railway station and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to relax or explore the city.

Day 2

| Today's Activities |
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Gegentala Grassland to start today's tour. The time reaching to this wonderful place is about 2 hours. On the way you could have a chance to appreciate the beautiful landscape of Yinshan Mountains. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the herdsmen with wine in silver bowls and pure white "Hada", and then you will enjoy Mongolian "finger mutton" for lunch. Afterwards, you are invited to watch the horse race and appreciate wrestling performance. Besides, ride a horse on the grassland (at one's own expense) if you like. After that, there are activities including climbing Obo Hill and visiting the herdsman's family to have some homemade milk productions. You are suggested to order the most famous dish of Mongolia "Roast Whole Lamb" for dinner (at one's own expense) up to your preference.

In the third day, you will be transferred back to Hohhot and take a visit to the three must see attractions: Wuta Temple - named for the five squares dagobas on the pedestal of the pagoda, Dazhao Lamasery - the first Lama temple in Hohhot and Inner Mongolian Museum - boasting a good selection of ethnic Mongolian items and a historical lineage of this vast grassland province.
