Details: We pick you up from your hotel between 7:00 am and 8:30 am. Drive to Ming Tombs, 50 miles from downtown, which takes about one hour. With 500 years history, the thirteen tombs of Ming Dynasty are taken as the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs. You will see Changling, the largest of Ming Tombs. Changling is the tomb of Emperor Yong Le (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu.
After one hour sightseeing in Ming Tombs, you will have about 45 minutes to visit Jade Carving Factory before having lunch at 11:30 am. Jade carving is a kind of special Chinese traditional product, and an exquisite combination of the delicate skill on carving and Chinese cultures. After having authentic Chinese style lunch at Jindian Restaurant, head towards Badaling Great Wall. Hiking on Badaling takes about 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famed and a well-preserved great wall. The highest point of Badaling Great Wall is approximately 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available here and optional.
On the way back downtown, we will drive by exterior the National Stadium - the Bird Nest and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube, the main Olympic stadiums for 2008 Olympic Games. Then, you will have an opportunity to enjoy the Chinese traditional silk arts. After the whole day tour, drive back to your hotel.
