Details: We pick you up from your hotel between 7:00 am and 8:30 am. Drive to Ming Tombs, the thirteen tombs of Ming Dynasty, to see Dingling, the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li and his two empresses. The sightseeing here takes about 2 hours.
At 11:00 am you will end the visit to Ming Tombs. Before having Chinese style lunch (11:30 am), you have 45 minutes to visit Jade Carving Factory. Jade carving is a kind of special Chinese traditional product, and an exquisite combination of the delicate skill on carving and Chinese cultures.
After having lunch, transfer to Mutianyu Great Wall, located about 75 km from Beijing downtown, in Huairou County on the northeast of the city. Mutianyu is well known for its beautiful surroundings with dense woods and rich pastures. As one of the well-preserved parts of Great Wall, Mutianyu used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. If you would like to reach the highest point, cable car is available and optional.
On the way back downtown, we will drive by exterior the National Stadium - the " Bird Nest " and National Aquatics Center - the Water Cube, the main Olympic stadiums for 2008 Olympic Games. Then, you will have an opportunity to relax yourself by enjoying the famous Chinese tea and tea ceremony in a well-known Chinese tea market. After the whole day tour, back to your hotels around 6:00 pm.
