Fujialou is not grand but featured in old Beijing style. There are intricate lattice wood screens separating the dining rooms. And the dish names written on pieces of wood hung from the rafters. Dishes are high quality and come quickly. The recommended food include Zha Qiehe (deep fried eggplant with pork in the middle) and Banli Shao Chizhong (soy chicken wings with chestnuts).
