Located in East Chang’an Avenue, Chang’an Grand Theatre is a upscale, luxurious, comfortable and modern theatre. Décor emphasizes the combination of ancient and contemporary architectures with classical red wooden tables and soft chairs. The capacity is about 800 seats including sumptuous VIP section.
The theatre presents primarily plays for tourists. There are special organized opera performances with translated subtitles for tourists’ well-understanding. Apart from the daily tourists special performances, there offers the traditional Peking Opera every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
