Zhengyici Theater

Zhengyi Ci is initially a temple. With more than 300-year history, it was constructed according to the imperial decree of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. Through three centuries, the wooden opera stage is taken as a well-preserved in opera tower architectural history. The stage keeps the original style which is opened in three directions. Opposite the stage is the watching pool holding about 200 opera fans. Zhengyi Ci became a significant window for international friends to get more idea of China and Old Beijing life style.
