This beautiful forest park is only 18 kilometers southeast of Changchun downtown. It is known as the largest man-made forest park in Asia.
Jingyuetan means a ‘clear moon pool’ and the lake is indeed shaped like the moon. It covers an area of 430 hectares and is considered the sister pool of Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. With four distinctive seasons, it is a summer resort where you can enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming. However, the most attractive place by far is Jingyuetan Ski Resort, endowed with picturesque snowscapes and refreshing air, an amazing find in the urban centre of Changchun. With five different levels, the ski resort can meet demands of a variety of skiers.
