As the biggest park in the Changchun urban area, South Lake covers an area of 920,000 square meters. Although you are in the North, you will feel like you are in the South as you gaze upon the willows dancing in the breeze and winding bridge spanning the river.

In summer, boating, fishing, and swimming are good choices for tourists. Winter does not disappoint either with its ample opportunities for skiing and skating as well as a lovely ice lantern show.
