At present time Chengdu has approximately 9,000 taxies serving domestic and international passengers. The taxi fare is CNY 5 for the first 3 kilometers and CNY 1.4 per km for the additional kilometers from 06:00 to 22:00. At night from 22:00 to 06:00 next morning, the staring price is CNY 6 for the first 3 kilometers and CNY 1.7 per km for the additional kilometers.
