Brief information on Foreigner Street  

Dali city is known as the Backpackers’ Paradise and Dali Foreigner Street is a famous foreigner street in China. Some visitors came here and attracted by the unique Bai nationality culture and the beautiful sceneries, and decided to live here for months or even years. The Foreigner Street situated at the heart of the ancient Dali city, where is always full of visitors from aboard, thus got the name Foreigner Street.
The original name for Foreigner Street is Huguo Road, which is 1 kilometers long and 7 meters wide, covered with stone slabs. With the development of tourism, several dozens of cafes, western style restaurants, and clothes shops offering services to foreign guests. Nowadays, the street becomes the distribution center for foreign visitors.
