Dalian Bus

Dalian boasts a comparatively developed public transportation system. There is over 100 bus routes altogether, including a tram car line. As most of the buses are the self-service ticketing one, so travelers should prepare the change in advance. Generally speaking, the ticket fare is CNY 1 per person. In addition, CNY 2 per person may be charged for some of the minibuses and tourist special lines (801, 901).

Small tips: If some one wants to visit an outlying tourist attraction, he’d better come to understand the running hour of the last bus. Otherwise, it may bring much trouble.

Tourist Circuits
Travelers could might as well to choose the tourist circuits when visiting here. The originating station is at the west side of the Railway Station Square. And the ticket fare is CNY 10 per day. Thus tourists could take these tourist buses many times according to the ticket of that very day, and no additional fee will be charged. The tour guide is available at each bus and he can give a brief intro about the sight spots along the way. However, the route between day and night is slightly different. During the night line, traveler could get off at Xinghai Square and take photo there. The departure interval is about 30 minutes. And the tourist circuits are operated between every April to October, and stopped at the heavy weather or winter.

Daytime route (08：0-17：00)：Dalian Train Station – Renmin Square – Xinghai Conference and Exhibition Center – Dalian Shell Museum – South Gate of Zoo – Taohutan Ocean Park –Zhongshan Square – Dalian Trian Station

Nighttime Route (18:30- 20:30): Dalian Trian Station – Qingniwa Bridge – Renmin Square –Olympic Square – Xinghai Square –Zhongshan Square – Dalian Railway Station
