Brief information on Songke Grassland  

Songke Grassland is situated at the average of 3000 meters above sea level and covers an area of 70 kilometers. Songke Grassland has been the natural grassland of Tibetans. Every summer, the grassland is full of verdant grass and beautiful flowers. It is the ideal place for people to travel in the grassland, spend summer and experience the nomad life of Tibetans.
In the Songke Grassland, visitors can enjoy the traditional meals in Tibetans, ethnic dancing and songs, bonfire evening party etc. They can take in the full beauty of the scenery and may have the feeling of “ back to the nature”.
Visitors can travel Songke Grassland by bicycle or ride a horse. In addition, they can stay overnight with a local family or rent a tent .It is also a good  experience to eat the Tibetan food, such as yak-butter tea and mutton etc.
