Brief information on Chunyang Temple

Chunyang Temple was built in the forth year of Emperor Daoguang’s reign in order to sacrifice to Lu Chunyang. The temple occupies an area of 10,000 square meters and faces south, built against a hill.
In Chunyang Temple, you can visit many ancient buildings like Linggong Palace, Fang Palace, the Ancestral Temple of Yang Fu, or Li Mingche’s Tomb.
Linggong Palace was used to sacrifice to the heavenly official who rules the human soul. Chunyang Palace is the main hall in the temple. The Ancestral Temple of Yang Han and Qingxian Ancestral Temple were used to sacrifice to the two famous scholars, Yang Han and Cui Yuzhi. Zhaodou Tower is at the back of Chunyang Palace and was used to observe changes in the weather and stars.
