Guilin Taxi

It is available to take taxi 24 hours a day in Guilin. Here taxis are mostly Jetta, Santana, as well as s small quantity of Citron in the city. The fair rate is different between daytime and nighttime. Generally for daytime (6:30 to 23:00), the staring price is CNY 7 for the first 2 kilometers, CNY 1.6 per km over 2 kilometers to less than 4 kilometers and CNY 2 for each additional kilometer thereafter. For nighttime (23:00 to 06:30 the next morning), the fair rate is CNY 7.8, CNY 1.8 per kilometers for 2 km to less than 4 km, and CNY 2.4 per km for each additional kilometers thereafter. The taxi fair differs from the type of the taxi. General speaking, the charge of Xiali and Lada is slightly lower than for Jetta and Santana.

The Guilin government attaches great importance to the management of taxi services. Therefore, all the taxis here are clean, and could not refuse to take any passengers. Guilin Taxi is available from the major tourist hotel and they only offer service inside Guilin city usually. However, if you want to go to the outskirt of the city, you should bargain with the taxi driver beforehand.
