Guilin Transportation - How to get to and get around Guilin

As one of China's most famous tourist destinations, Guilin is also one of the most significant transportation hubs in China. It has convenient and fast integrated transport systems connecting airline, railway and expressway all together. Guilin's Liangjiang Airport provides flights from Guilin to over 30 domestic cities and 8 international destinations and regions. The North and South Guilin Railways stations see around 30 trains arriving and departing daily.  Meanwhile, the convenient public bus lines bring every corner of the city within the tourist's reach. Moreover, the free public buses provide inestimable service to both domestic and international passengers. However, the best way to get around in Guilin is either by taxi or bicycle. Taxis in Guilin are relatively inexpensive compared to other cities. Bicycles can be rented by the day at hotels throughout Guilin and at many cafes and hostels in Yangshuo.
