Brief information on Kaili Folk Museum  

Situated in the Miao village at Miao Mountain, Kaili Folk Museum is called “the Origin of Chinese Folk Arts”, which is also one of the “Hundred Distinctive Museums of China”. It is interesting that the architectural style of this museum overflows with unique folk features, with the double-eaved roof of Dong group’s drum town in the center turret of the building and Wooden Stilt House of Miao nationality in both sides of the tower.

The museum has three floors, housing a furniture center and exhibition area. The exhibition hall of Kaili Folk Museum is composed of a series of eclectic exhibition halls - “Guizhou general picture hall”, “Minority amorous feelings hall”, “Minority costumes hall”, “Modern folk craftwork hall”, as well as “Dragon boat hall”.
