Hangzhou Train

It is quite easy to go to Hangzhou by train from Shanghai. Generally speaking, the train will take about one to two hours between Shanghai station and Hangzhou railway station. There are main two passenger transport train stations in Hangzhou. They are Hangzhou New Railway Station and East Hangzhou Railway station; both are located quite near the downtown area and are connected with city center by Bus K518.

It will take about 20 minutes that taking a taxi from the new railway station to the city center. By bus No.7, K7 and tourist bus No.2 can go sight-seeing the main West Lake Scenic Spots. And at the East Hangzhou Station, you can also easily go to the West Lake by tourist bus No.5 and get to Wulin Square Commercial Center in about 20 minutes.
