Daqing Overview:  Daqing is located in Songnen plain, 140 kilometer east of Ice city Harbin, west of Qiqihar city. The total area is 21,494 square meters with 5,107 square meters of the city zone. It is  one of the top ten oil fields all over the world. It also has the most charming Sha Yu Marsh in China.

Daqing Climate & Weather: Daqing enjoys a north temperature zone continental climate with four distinctive seasons such as the long cold winter, windy and dry spring, and short hot summer with lots of raining and long sunshine autumn. The best time to travel is from May to September. 

Daqing Transportation:   Daqing is located between Harbin and Qiqihar and it is easy to reach Daqing by bus and train from Harbin or Qiqihar airport as Daqing’s airport is under construction.

By Train:  There are two cross railways in Daqing, the east-west railway connecting Harbin City and Manzhouli City through Daqing and the south railway to Inner Mongolia and Liaoning. The railways make it easy to reach Daqing from Harbin, Qiqihar, Manzhouli, Jiagedaqi, Tongliao and Chifeng city.

By Bus:  Daqing passenger bus station is the national first class passenger station and also one of the eight largest passenger stations in Heilongjiang Province. Daqing’s road is accessible from all directions with more than 150 long-distance transportation routes and almost 500 numbers of bus trips per day.

By Taxi:  The flag-down fare is 10 Yuan and charges 1.2 Yuan per kilometer after the first 3 kilometers.

Daqing Food:  Daqing benefits from its location between Daxinganling and Songnen plain. It is rich in mountain delicacies like Hericium erinaceus, black fungus, bracken etc. These foods are not only delicious, but also help in body building.
