Jixi Overview:  Located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang Province, Jixi has Russia at the eastern border. It also has Mudanjiang City,and Qitaihe City at its border. Jixi covers an area of 22.531 square kilometers with a population of 2 million.  Jixi is where the sun rises earliest in China.
