Yichun Overview:  Located in the northeast of Heilongjiang province, on the river opposite Russia, and it’s boarder line is 2495 kilo meters long. It is surrounded by forests and had 803,700 inhabitants in 2001.

By Train:  A train ride to Yichun costs 32 Yuan to 56 Yuan and takes about 8 hours from Harbin while 20 Yuan to 30 Yuan and around 6 and hours from Jimusi.

By Bus:  Yichun Passenger Transportation Center offer express coach services to major neighboring cities like Harbin, Jimusi, Daqing etc.  fare within the city starts at 1 Yuan.

By Taxi:The flag-down fare is 6Yuan. 1 Yuan per kilometer after the first 3 kilometers. Most taxi rides within the city cost around 10 Yuan.

Yichun Food:  Local delicacies include bracken, fried very quickly over hot fire, stewed wild mushroom and chicken, Stewed potherb, Meixi Snguliu blood sausage and so on.
