Brief information on Wong Tai Sin Temple  

Wong Tai Sin Temple is located in Kowloon, with an area of 18,000 m2. It is also home to Small Garden, Holy Trinity Hall and Congxin House. The memorial arches are most characteristic, reflecting the splendour of traditional Chinese architecture and revealing the intrinsic beauty of Chinese culture.

The Temple is mainly dedicated to the eponymous Wong Tai Sin, a famous Taoism immortal in Jin Dynasty. Confucius and Kwan-yin, Confucianism and Buddhism immortals that also feature in this place of worship. The Wong Tai Sin Temple therefore blends the three religions, creating a harmonious venue for the worship of multiple immortals.

Wong Tai Sin Temple has been listed as a Hong Kong Grade Ⅱ Historic. It is also the first temple that has been approved by Hong Kong SAR Government tohold wedding ceremonies and grant Marriage Certificates.
