Huangshan Bus
There are 19 public bus lines leading everywhere in Huangshan City. And almost all the bus routes pass the city center-Yuzhong Garden. Among them, Buses No.1 and No.2 run to Huangshan Railway Station and No.18 runs to Huangshan Airport. However, there is no direct bus route from downtown city to Huangshan Scenic Spot. Traveler should firstly take minibus at Huangshan City Bus Station to Tangkou Town. It will take about 1 hour and ticket fare is CNY18 per person. Then take another bus from Tangkou to Cloud Valley Temple.
Tips: Only the vehicle belonging to Huangshan Scenic Spot are allowed to enter the scenic area. Otherwise, another toll CNY 40 would need to pay. Therefore, tourists had better transfer the buses belonging to the attraction at the gate of Huangshan Mountain and the ticket price is CNY14 per person.
Huangshan Coach
Huangshan City has a quite convenient transportation system which connects Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Hefei, Jiuhua Mountain and Jingdezhen by national highways. Since the Hui-Hang (from Anhui to Hangzhou) Highway was open to traffic, the journey between Huangshan and Hangzhou has been reduced to only two and a half hour. After the finish of the Huangshan-Jingdezhen Highway and the round-Mt. Huangshan-highway, there will form an efficient transportation network in Huangshan.
There are two coach stations in Huangshan, the City Coach Station and Huangshan Scenic Spot Station.
Huangshan City Coach Station is located at East Huangshan Road, only 10 minutes on foot from the railway station. It provides bus service from Huangshan City everyday to Shanghai and the whole journey will take 5 hours.
In addition, there are also many long-distance buses leaving from Huangshan Scenic Spot Station for major cites including Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, Yangzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Huainan, Anqing, Jingdezhen and so on.
