Lianyungang Overview: Sitting on the east bank of the Yellow Sea, Lianyungang is facing Korea and Japan across the sea. Lianyungang is located in the northeast of Jiangsu Province, boarding Tancheng, Linshu, Junan and Rizhao in Shandong Province to the north, Xinyi, Muyang Prefecture under Huaiyin in Xuzhou to the west, Lianshui in Huaiyin and Xiangshui in Yancheng to the north. Covering a land of 7444 square kilometers, Lianyungang has a population of 4.65 million.
