Jiuzhaigou consists of three valleys arranged in a Y shape. Shuzheng Valley is the most popular site for tourists. Over 40 lakes are spread over 14 kilometers of the valley, making up about 40% of all the lakes in Jiuzhaigou. The major attractions of the valley include Bonsai Beach, Reed Lake, Spark Lake, Shuzheng Waterfall, Nuorilang Waterfall, and Rhinoceros Lake.
Bonsai Beach is a low-lying beach in front of Heye Village and it looks like a huge bonsai.
Reed Lake is a 22-kilometer-long reed-covered marsh with a beautiful jade belt river through it and it is also the home of many aquatic birds. Travelers here can enjoy the picturesque view of clear streams winding through reeds and water birds flying above the lake.
Rhinoceros Lake is the biggest and also one of the most changeable lakes in Jiuzhaigou. The inverted image on it surface is magic and perfectly integrates with the blue sky, white clouds, green forest, and the lake itself.
*You can download the bilingual note to show it to a taxi driver or someone else to find your way to Shuzheng Valley if you plan to visit Shuzheng Valley and have language problems.
