Brief information on Abakh Hoja Mosque  

Abakh Hoja Mosque is located in Haohan Village, which is 5 km from northeastern Kashgar. The key cultural-relics protection unit, Abakh Hoja Mosque is comprised of a series of classic Islam ancient buildings, and resembles a palatial palace. It is 40 m high, and consists of a gate tower, a small mosque, a big mosque, a classics hall and a major burial chamber. Above the vaulted dome hidesan exquisite tower, on the top of which is perched a shining and solemn gilt crescent. In the wide hall, there is a platform where five generations of the Fragrant Concubine family are buried. The tomb of Fragrant Concubine is located at the northeast corner of the platform. On the left of the tombs, there are two Islam mosques, and behind the tombs, lies an even larger area of tombs.
