This includes beautiful and comfortable carpets, hats, simple but elegant clay pottery, intricate jewellery, fancy Yingjisha knives, fine Aidelaisi Silk, practical calico and diverse national instruments, all of which are popular among the tourists at home and abroad as souvenirs.
Kashgar is known as the home of fruits. Extremely popular are the fig, sea buckthorn, pistachio, Jia-shi melon, dried apricot, pear, apricot, grape, flat peach, mulberry, pomegranate and walnut. Pomegranates from Yecheng are very famous in China.
