Brief information on Yunnan Ethnic Village  

Yunnan Ethnic Village showcases the culture and customs of all the ethnic groups in Yunnan Province. Located on the north shore of Lake Dian, it occupies an area of 7,500 acres where visitors can experience spring all year round. With a pleasant climate, singing birds and fragrant flowers, the natural landscape and ethnic customs merge into one another.

The village presents the colorful customs and architecture of twenty-five minorities in Yunnan Province. Through displays and re-creations of the groups’ architecture, lifestyles and religious beliefs, visitors can enjoy a diverse cultural experience. The village’s facilities include a dancing hall, restaurant, entertainment center, and so on. What’s more, travelers can take part in activities and festival celebrations after tasting the local food and choosing ethnic handicrafts.
