Kunming Train
Kunming is a vital part for Yunnan railway transportation net. Guikun (Guizhou to Kunming) Railway, Chengkun (Chengdu to Kunming) Railway, Nankun (Nanning to Kunming) Railway and Kunhe (Kunming to Hanoi) Railway connect Kunming City to the interprovincial cities and to Hanoi, Vietnam. Tourists can get to Stone Forest, Yuxi and Dali by rail from Kunming.
Kunming City has two railway stations, Southern Railway Station (Nanyao Railway Station) and Northern Railway Station.
Southern Railway Station (Nanyao Railway Station) is the main railway station in the city. Passengers can reach Dali, Yuxi from the station. It will take about CNY 10 and 15 minutes to get to the station by taxi from city center. The ticket center is set at No. 19, Kunshi Rd.
