Lijiang Bus
Due to the booming tourist industry in passing days, the public traffic of Lijiang has improved markedly in recent years. At present, there are over 10 bus lines of a communication network in the city. The ticket fare is CNY 1 in common.

Lijiang Coach
Situated at the interface of Yunnan and Sichuan province and Tibet Autonomous Region, Lijiang has a convenient highway transportation system leading everywhere. Therefore, the most convenient way to reach Lijiang City is absolutely by coach bus. There are mainly four coach stations in Lijiang including Lijiang Transport Service Center Coach Station, Lijiang Guluwan Coach Station, Lijiang Express Coach Station as well as Lijiang Tourist Coach Station.
Lijiang Transport Service Center Station is located at Changshui Road, on the southwest corner of Lijiang Old Town. Passengers can take bus No.1 to arrive at the station directly. The station provides bus service to Zhongdian and Deqin. The night sleeper bus from Lijiang to Kunming is also available here and the ticket fare is about CNY 90.
Lijiang Gulanwan Coach Station is next to Black Dragon Pool Park on north of the old town. It has the most bus lines to Daju, Xiaguan, and Zhongdian of Yunnan Provinces and Panzhihua of Sichuan Province.
Lijiang Express Coach Station lies at the Shangri-la Avenue and mainly open bus line to Kunming.
Lijiang Tourist Coach Station is situated at Changshui Road, near by Naxi Grand Hotel. Buses to Kunming and Xiaguan are available here.
Buses between Lijiang and Neighboring Cities
Kunming to Lijiang: There are about then coach buses from Kuming to Lijiang every day. The whole journey is about 10 to 12 hours and ticket fare is CNY 185.
Lijiang to Kunming: Most of the buses from Lijiang to Kunming are operated by Lijiang Transport Service Center Station. The ticket fare is about CNY 185 and it will take 10 hours to reach Kunming. However, every morning, the buses from Ljiang Tourist Coach Station and Lijiang Express Coach Station to Kunming are also available.
Dali to Lijiang: If you can not get the ticket to Lijiang directly on tourist season, then you can firstly go to Dali and then head down to Lijiang from Dali. There are many minibuses to go back and forth Dali and Ljiang every day. The whole journey is about 3 hours and ticket price is CNY 60. By the way, please notice that almost the buses to Lijiang only provide service at daytime. If you arrive at Dali at night, then you could stay one night at Yangren Street in Dali Old Town, and take bus to Lijiang nest morning.
Lijiang to Shangri-la: You can buy ticket from coach stations or Yuquan Hotel and Ljiang Hotel and the fare is about CNY 35. Buses leave at daytime from 07:30 to 15:00.
