Lijiang Train
Although there is no train station in Lijiang City, Kunming Railway Station and Dali Railway Station as well Sichuan Panshihua Railway Station all would be choices to travel Lijiang. Since get off the train from Kunming Station, you can reach to Lijiang by air or by coach. Then from Dali Railway Station you need to take a bus to Lijinag. And there is also the regular bus between Sichuan Panshihua Railway Station and Lijiang.

Since the train connection between Dali and Lijiang will be open to traffic in 2009, and then the railway channel will extend to Shangri-la and even Lhasa to link together the national railway system.
