Brief information on Longsheng Hot Spring  

Longsheng Hot Spring scenic area locates in Jiangdi Village in the northwest of Longsheng. It is 32 km away from Longsheng and 110 km away from Guilin. In November 2007, it became the national AAAA level scenic zone in China.

The hot spring boils from the layers of rocks 1200 m deep underground. The temperature of the water is between 45℃ to 58℃. The water contains more than ten kinds of microelements that benefit human bodies, such as lithium, strontium (Sr), iron, zinc and copper. The water quality has been appraised to be natural drinkable mineral water by experts from National Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Light Industry and Ministry of Health.

The holiday resort is located in the national forest park at Longsheng Hot Spring. It occupies the area of 5733 square meters and comprises a hot spring bathing area and hotel. Around the holiday resort, there are many tourism activities. For example, the breathtaking drift at Longmen Gorge and the national forest park at Longsheng Hot Spring.
