Longsheng Food - What and Where to eat in Longsheng

The folk culture in Longsheng has a long history. There is a saying “travel in Guilin, eat in Longsheng”. Since there are several minorities in Longsheng, the cuisines are different among different minorities.

1. Dong Minority: The people of Dong minority have the habit of eating sour food. The famous dishes include Dong Three Sour Delicacies, duck blood with glutinous rice and pickles.
2. Zhuang Minority: The famous dishes include Bamboo Tube Duck, Bamboo Tube Rice and Chicken with Myrcia.
3. Miao Minority: The famous dish is oil tea.
4. Yao Minority: The famous dishes are bacon and meat cooked in a big pan.
5. Local flavor: Mainly fish of the Sangjiang River and cobble fish.
