Pingyao Taxi
Pingyao County has more than 100 taxi including minibus, normal bus as well as superior car (above Santana). The fare rate of taxi is depends on the model of the car. For example, the taxi fee of the minibus is CNY 3 for the first 2 kilometers and then CNY1 per kilometers for the additional distance; and the starting price of the normal bus is CNY6 for the first 3 kilometers, and then CNY 1/kilometer will be charged for the succeeding kilometers; the fare of the superior car is CNY 12 for the first 3 kilometers and CNY 2 per km thereafter. Meanwhile, the fare rate will be added approximately in cases of waiting, driving at night and mileage for driving back without passenger.
