Qingdao By Ferry
Ferries in Qingdao can be divided into the general ones and the fast ones. There are total two courses sailing in Jiaozhou Bay to connect the western Huangdao District and the eastern Shinan District. If you drive the freeway around Jiaozhou Bay from one district to another one, the car has to run 84 kilometers. But if you take ferry sailing between the two districts, it only takes 20 minutes or half an hour. On the foggy days, the ferries will stop.
General ferries: starting at 6:30 and stopping at 21:00; one ferry every half hour; CNY 6 per ticket.
Fast ferries: starting at 7:10 and stopping at 18:30; one ferry every 20 minutes; CNY 8 per ticket.
