In Qingdao, the taxies can be divided into Santana, Jetta, Volkswagen and FAW car according to the vehicle model. The starting fare for Santana, Jetta and Volkswagen is CNY 7 within 4 kilometers. If the journey exceeds 3 kilometers, the extra CNY 1.2 will be charged for one kilometer at daytime and CNY 1.5 for one kilometer at night; if the journey exceeds 6 kilometers, the extra CNY 1.8 will be charged for one kilometer. As for FAW car as taxi, the starting fare is CNY 10 within 3 kilometers. If the journey exceeds 3 kilometers, the extra CNY 1.7 will be charged for one kilometer; if the journey exceeds 6 kilometers, the extra CNY 2.55will be charged for one kilometer.
