Brief information on Chunfeng Songyue Lou

As early as end of Qing Dynasty (more than 100 years ago), the vegetarian restaurant began to set up in Shanghai. At that time, you can find vegetarian restaurant everywhere around Yuyuan Garden area. As time went by, most of them die away. However, Chunfeng Songyue Lou is the only few existing until now.  

This restaurant specializes in traditional vegetarian food, noodles, and dumplings. Among which, the most popular one is Caibao (vegetable steamed buns) which has white color, satiety and softy stuffing, very fresh and tasty. And the chunjuan (spring rolls), chenpi suya (orange peel duck) are all worth trying.
