Brief information on The Door (Qian Men)

An old Tudor mansion has a very Chinese name “Qianmen” (English name is the door) with art décor of Ming and Qing Dynasties. At the restaurant, you can see many antiques and ornamental of Chinese different regions, including antique chair, wallpapers, and even the music here is not vulgar one. “The door” is one of the only places in Shanghai that has the supernal space of church like and mysterious oriental atmosphere. The prices are fair and it is recommended to make a reservation ahead of time.
