Set up in 1744, Wang Bao He is one of the oldest restaurants in Shanghai. The perennial menu favorite here include Shanghai’s famous hairy crab, from dumplings and soup to the whole hairy monster, which is tropically steamed and eaten with a dipping sauce of ginger, soy sauce, and black vinegar.
