Brief information on West Garden  

With 700 years history, West Garden presents factually a garden style temple now. There are archway, temple gate, Jingang Palace, Fangsheng (free captive animals) Pool, Daxiong Baodian and Scriptures Tower from south to north on the axle wire.

Lohan Hall is much featured. The different modeling and expressions of 500 Lohan sculptures all kept the Ming and Qing dynasties style. Another attractive sight is a hundreds years big soft-shelled turtle in Fangsheng Pool. It is said that if one has an opportunity to see the turtle unveiled, he or she is going to turn up trumps.

The small and delicate style of Suzhou gardens also integrated into the temple complex, which offered West Garden the implied and cultural flavor.
