Taiyuan Train

Taiyuan is benefit from Jingyuan Railway (Beijing - Taiyuan), Shitai Railway (Shijiazhuang - Taiyuan) and Taijiao Railway (Taiyuan - Jiaozuo). It connects tens of major cities, for example, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu, Baotou, etc. The railways running through or ending in Taiyuan are more than 20.

Taiyuan Train Station is located near North Jianshe Road and facing to Yingze Avenue, the downtown. Many bus lines here are convenient for you to take from the urban area to Train Station, such as No. 1, No. 6, No.10, No. 21, No. 102, No. 601. 

To be stressed, since 2009, several bullet trains (Bullet trains, with bullet-shaped locomotives, are designed based on aerodynamic theories, allowing the train to run at a high speed.) opened between Taiyuan and other big cities, like Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Wuhan, and Shenyang.
