Turpan Transportation - How to get to and get around Turpan
As the main tourist destination in Xinjiang, Turpan has a relatively developed transportation system. Visitors can get there by air (Urumqi International Airport which is 2 hours driving from turpan city center), by train or by long-distance buses. The city transportation also has some specialties with Donkey taxi.
