Brief information on Lingshan Grand Buddha  

The Lingshan Grand Buddha is located in Wuxi Lake Tai National Tourist and Holiday Resort, and occupies about thirty hectares. On the way from the main parking lot to Zhaobi Square, the Lingshan Buddha comes into view, standing majestically and surrounded by mountains in three directions. At eighty-eight meters in height, it is the highest outdoor bronze statue in the world. The Lingshan Grand Buddha gets its name from its location on Small Ling Mountain (Xiao Lingshan), which was named by monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty.
