Wuxi is located at the junction of the highway network of Jiangsu Province. The Shanghai-Nangjing Highway and the Beijing-Shanghai Highway meet in Wuxi.

There are 3 bus stations in Wuxi.
Wuxi Bus Station: It is located at No. 114 East Tonghui Road which is in the western side of Wuxi Railway Station, mainly sending off the fast buses and minibuses to all the towns of Jiangyin City, Changshu and Zhangjiagang.

Wuxi Main Bus Station: It is located at No. 18 Guangqin Road, which is in the northern side of Wuxi Railway Station, mainly sending off the ordinary buses to all the towns in suburb, Nantong, Qiandao Lake and Wenzhou.

Wuxi West Bus Station: It is located at No. 7 Liangqing Road, sending off the buses to Zhejiang Province and Anhui Province. At Wuxi West Bus Station, there are also 5 regular buses to Shanghai, Nanjing and Nantong each day, 8 regular buses to Suzhou, 2 regular buses to Hefei, and 3 regular buses to Wuhan. Besides, minibuses to all the towns of Yixing City, Jiangyin, Zhangjiagang, Changshu, Liyang, Lishui and Gaochun can also be found there. People can go to this bus station by Bus 20 and 820.
