Brief information on Tang Paradise  

Tang Paradise is not so far from Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and is the only themed park reappearing comprehensively in the large-scale imperial garden since the construction of the original Tang Dynasty site.

The garden displays the Tang culture through twelve themes including emperors, poems, folk customs, diet, femininity, tea culture, religion, science, foreign affairs, imperial examinations, dancing and an entrance feature. In addition, the Purple Cloud Tower, Palace Maid Mansion, Royal Dinning Palace, Fanglin Fragrant Garden, Fengming Jiutian Theatre, Apricot Garden, Lu Yu Teahouse and Tang-style Market offer cultural performances at certain times. Visitors will enjoy the folk dancing, Martial Arts, Lion dances, stilts and acrobatics, and the magic water curtain movie at night.

Covering an area of about 165 acres (of which 49 are water), the Tang style complex is one of the largest in China. It is the biggest cultural themed-park in the northwest region of China and the only royal-garden like park to give a full display of the Tang Dynasty culture.
