Xianyang Museum is located in the extended Confucian Temple in Zhongshan Street, Xianyang City. It was reconstructed and opened to public in 1962.
Xianyang Museum houses 12,000 pieces of cultural relics from Qin, Han and Tang dynasties, including tubular bells, bronze tripod, golden coins and jade horses. The six exhibition halls are divided into three sections, one focuses on emperor mausoleums of Western Han Dynasty, and two emphasize the 3,000 colored terracotta warriors and horses.
