Shaanxi Grand Opera House is a group with 60-year history, the precursor of which is the Northwest Culture Work Group in Yan’an, established in 1940. One of the signature performances of Shaanxi Grand Opera House is the Recreated Tang Dynasty Music and Dances. It focuses on presenting the palace life of Emperor Xuanzong and his Imperial Concubine Yang. Voice-overs are both in Chinese and English. In addition, the opera house serves dinner emphasizing dumplings with about 20 different stuffing. Show time starts from 20:30 to 21.30. Reservation is recommended.
