Xian Bus
Xian bus routes radiate in all directions. Tourists can get to every commercial areas and scenic spots surrounded the city.
Most of the public buses in the city are automated collection buses. Passengers should drop CNY 1 into the box near the bus gate. So it is better to prepare some changes before boarding the bus cause the drivers do not have changes to give you if you input a big note. For buses with air-condition, passengers should drop CNY 2. Besides, there are mini buses usually with conductors. The ticket price generally ranging from CNY 0.5 to CNY 4 in accordance with the distance of the journey.

Situated at the west of Xian Railway Station Square, Xian Coach Station offers service to Gansu, Ningxia, Tibet, Mongolia, Chongqing, Shanxi, Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui, etc. Public bus No. 5, 9, 13, 14, 41, 42, 103, 105, 205, 228, 231, 511, 603, 608, 610, 703, 705, 707 and 712 reach the station.
Xian East Coach Station provides the services to the directions of Shanxi, Jiangsu, Henan, Zhejiang, Guangdong. It is located at No. 103, Middle Changle Rd. and passengers can conveniently take bus No. 11, 13, 15, 38, 45, 203, 231, 401, 406, 408, 502, 511, 605, 708, 709, 715, 716 or 721 to reach the station.
Coaches from Xian West Coach Station, at No. 92, East Zaoyuan Rd. take passengers to Qingtongxia, Yinchuan, Xining, Lanzhou, Tianshui and Urumqi, etc.
