I was there for my study trip back in 2007.. We were there for about 2 weeks since we are doing our 'Heritage Studies' for our Bachelor Degree in Architecture.. We need to study about the building and the history behind the beautiful architecture.. Our case study were the Great Mosque of Xi'an. The building is beautiful and preserved well.. the people there also very friendly and kind.. Since i am a Muslim, i was very excited to to see the difference in their culture and heritage.. The location of the mosque also located at the middle of the muslim street where they sell many merchandises, souvenir and great food.. to be exact, the mutton =).. if i have the opportunities to go there for the second, third, or maybe the fourth time.. i would do it.. because the experience are memorable..
