Brief information on Yangshuo Moon Mountain  

Moon Mountain is located on the opposite bank to the Big Banyan Tree, 8.5 kilometers south of Yangshuo. It got the name due to the fact that, when looked at from different locations, it resembles the moon in different stages. The mountain also has another beautiful name- Immortal Mountain. There are 800 steps covered with marble leading to the top of the mountain.

Around Moon Mountain, there are a lot of famous attractions such as the Meinv Shuzhuang, Lying Tiger Hill, and Nine Cows Hill. Moon Mountain is also the oldest and the most attractive natural rock climbing site. Every year, the mountain attracts numerous rock climbers due to its unique beauty. When climbing the mountain, don’t forget to wear your hiking shoes as there are many steps to negotiate.
