After breakfast, your visit in Beijing begins from the largest public square in the world - Tiananmen Square. Walking through the square, you will enter the world's largest palace building complex - Forbidden City. Afterwards, drive to Old Beijing's Hutongs (narrow alleys) for a rickshaw ride and visit a traditional courtyard house. Then enjoy the breathtaking views of Summer Palace, the finest imperial garden built in Qing Dynasty.

The morning excursion takes you to Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven for good harvest. After that you will take a scenic drive to the Great Wall, the less- crowded Mutianyu section (including round-trip cable car). Sample the Chinese feast in a deluxe Peking Duck restaurant.

Check out in the morning, and then take a photo stop at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube - the main stadiums of 2008 Beijing Olympics on the way to Beijing 798 Art Zone. Beijing 798 Art Zone with more than 200 art & culture galleries was once a military-industrial factory complex since early 1950's. As for lunch, you can get by yourself in Beijing 798 Art Zone. Then take the afternoon flight to Xian for more Chinese history experience. Upon arrival in Xian, our local guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Take an excursion to China's greatest archaeological discovery - Terracotta Warriors and Horses, an underground army for the tomb of China's First Emperor over 2,200 years ago. Drive to the square in front of Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the afternoon. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is the landmark of this city. A walk around the square will help you appreciate the exquisite Tang-styled architectures and sculptures. This evening, you will attend a Dinner Show at Tang Dynasty Theatre Restaurant.

The morning tour includes the well preserved Xian City Wall, which was built in the 13th century on the foundations of the original Tang Forbidden City. A bike ride on the wall is arranged. Followed by visiting the Great Mosque and the famous Muslim Street nearby, where you will touch the real local life here.Then transfer to the airport to take your flight to Shanghai in the afternoon. Our guide will pick you up at Shanghai airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is left on your own.

You visit the Shanghai Museum, with a collection of more than 120,000 cultural relics of ancient China; its display includes ceramics, jade, bronze, furniture and paintings, etc. After the tour of the 400-year old famous classical Yuyuan Garden with the local market nearby, you take a walk along Tianzifang, one of the few places in Shanghai with preserved old shikumen houses. This area is filled with arts, crafts, and boutique shops. In the evening, you attend an unforgettable Acrobatic Show.

A beautiful day starts with a scenic drive through the countryside. You arrive at the Zhujiang Pier to embark on a memorable Li River cruise. The 4 - hours' cruise allows you to appreciate the classical Chinese landscapes — bamboo groves, fishermen's villages, limestone peaks and Karst sceneries. Your cruise ends at the famed Yangshuo finally. Upon arrival, explore this fascinating town by riding a bicycle through the quiet and comfortable countryside and enjoy the rural life in China. On the way of biking, a visit to a local family is included to experience the local lifestyle. At last, transfer back to your hotel in Guilin.
Note: If you don't like riding bicycle in Yangshuo, electric sightseeing vehicle could also be arranged instead, but the extra charge will be paid on your own.
